District Visitor Policy!!!

 IMPORTANT ITEM!!!!!

Parents...Geneva Elementary is now implementing the new SCPS campus visitor policy.

ALL VISITORS MUST NOW PRESENT A PHOTO I.D. BEFORE ENTERING OUR CAMPUS!

This is a new policy and procedure that the school district has put into place at ALL schools and county offices.  Student, school, and staff safety is their utmost priority.   Upon entering our campus. please present your photo ID to our office secretary and she will scan it and present you with a visitor badge.  No visitor/dividend will be allowed onto our campus without a proper visitor badge.

Severe Rainy Day Dismissal

During major rain, lightning, wind, and thunder, we may have to delay the dismissal of our Geneva students to ensure their safety.

In that event, then we would house the Bus Riders in the Media Center & load them on to the bus straight from the front office.

Car riders would be housed inside the music room and dismissed only 4 at a time on numbers 6, 7, 8, and 9.  This will also keep our staff member (who announces names) dry and safe.

Walkers and biker riders would be held in the Music Room, which is building 02 near the Clinic.  We then would contact parents and  transition the students to car riders or at least wait out the severe weather.

Parent Feedback Survey

Schools in our district have the opportunity to take part in the development of a new method to showcase what makes each of our schools unique.  SCPS has partnered with Datanautix, a local data analytics firm, to create a new, more transparent school report card that will featuring a snapshot of  parent, student and school staff perceptions as well as other critical data points.

Parents, please assist us by participating in this very short survey that will allow ask you to provide input in your own words about Geneva Elementary.  The survey will ask how likely you are to recommend our school to others and will provide an opportunity for you to tell us about your experience.

The survey results will be collected and analyzed by Datanautix. All responses are collected anonymously - no personally identifiable information will be included as a part of the survey.

The survey will be open from January 23rd to February 23rd.
