Halloween is Here !

Halloween is here!  Remember...Geneva Elementary students DO NOT wear costumes to school.  And if  you are bringing treats for classrooms, please check in at the front office where we will assist you in their delivery.   Thank you and have a safe evening!

Teach Flu a Lesson !

The Florida Department of Health in Seminole County is excited to kick off the “Teach Flu a Lesson” program.

Coming home are letters and permission slips for your child to receive, free of charge, flu vaccinations.  These are given to any student, with a sign permission slip, during the school day on November 4, 2014.  SCPS is working with Healthy Schools & the Florida Department of Health to provide this valuable health precaution.

This is not a flu shot!  It is a pain-free FluMist Quadrivalent vaccine.

If you wish your child to participate, please fill out the permission slip and return it to your child’s teacher.  A letter will come home with your child stating they have received the FluMist vaccination.

Remember, this is a FREE program and will better protect your child this flu season.

If you have any further questions, you can reach Healthy Schools at 1-800-566-0596.
